  • A Mack Titan sets the world record for the longest road train pulled in Clifton, driven by John Atkinson, with a 113 trailer road train (1.4743km) towed for 150m.
  • The Boral "Hippy" Truck is star attraction at the 2009 Brisbane Truck Show.  Mack Trucks Australia set a new global standard for the construction industry with this truck, which was heralded as "world's cleanest concrete agitator"
  •  Introduction of the mDRIVE 12 speed automated manual transmission
  • The Mack MP10 16 litre engine is released - 685Hp - the most powerful engine fitted to a highway conventional.
