Mack FXL Axles

Mack proudly presents the first ever steer axles with unitised hubs specifically designed for heavy duty applications. Our 6.6 tonnes, 8.2 tonnes and 9.1 tonnes capacity steer axles are now available throughout the whole Mack range. All feature our innovative design and greatly reduce maintenance time and costs. Unitised wheel hubs are permanently sealed with specially formulated synthetic grease to provide effective lubrication. You can now consider axle maintenance time to be cut in half.

Mack Drive Axles / Suspensions

Mack Trucks boast a full range of proprietary and vendor drive axle and suspension packages that can be adapted to any requirement. With ratings up to 200 tonnes GCM* and ratios from 4.35:1 to 5.95:1 they’re the right choice for on and off the highway applications. Mack axles are ABS/Traction control compatible for safety and application versatility and feature precision engineered double reduction top entry drive heads for light weight and strength. With suspensions, you’ve got choices. Mack or MaxLite 40 air systems with ground ratings up to 18 tonnes, and Mack Inverted Leaf mechanical systems rated at 18.21 tonnes and 24 tonnes. The high articulation and ground clearance of the tried and proven Mack axle and Camelback suspension is also available. (*Tri-axle combination).
