Under the hood is the most powerful engine ever offered by Mack. Available in 435, 465 and 500Hp the American born and bred MP8 engine is built and tested in the world class Hagerstown powertrain plant. The MP8 has successfully been in use overseas for more than two years. "MP" stands for Mack Power and with almost 800 cubic inches of displacement this unique Mack engine is a powerful addition to the family. Maintaining the fuel efficiency standards of the CCRS engine, you get a greener, meaner engine with more power than ever before.

The new Advantage chassis is a single rail solution that offers a 10% reduction in frame weight and a 10% increase in strength. With Advantage there is no requirement for double rail even in heavy duty applications. The Advantage rail is deeper and thicker (300mm deep / up to 11mm thick) and even offers an improved steering geometry of up to 50° degrees.

Dubbed the "Fusion" cab there are more trim options than ever before. The Fusion cab also offers an increase of 4” in depth with a whopping 21° degrees recline added to the seat. The new wrap around dash means all controls and switches are within easy reach of the driver. And the improved turning circle and forward visibility combined with shorter wheelbases and greater trailer compatibility offers drivers a cab engineered for application excellence.
