In June this year, Dave Martin, the lucky winner of the ‘Win a Mack for a year’ competition, got to see his prize being built in Mack’s Wacol production facility.
In December 2015, Dave Martin, from D&A Martin in Pakenham, received a call from Dean Bestwick, Vice President of Sales for Mack Trucks Australia, informing him that he was the lucky winner of a shiny new Mack truck of his choosing. Dave’s choice; A 600hp Mack Super-Liner equipped with an mDRIVE automated manual transmission, which will make light work of hauling bulk stockfeed to the dairy and beef farms in Victoria’s Gippsland region.
If Dave wasn’t already excited enough, Mack Trucks flew Dave and his son, Cameron, to Brisbane for a guided tour of the Wacol production facility, to see his Super-Liner being built. Accompanied by a range of Mack experts, throughout the tour, Dave spotted the chassis rails, cab, and MP10 engine that will quickly come together to form his Super-Liner.
Immediately following the tour, Dave was introduced to the total Mack offering, including presentations about Mack Telematics and Service Agreements – both of which are included inhis prize.
Dave is expected to take delivery of his Super-Liner in the August this year through his local dealership, CMV Dandenong.
