Mack Trucks Australia Launches Bold New Look for Super-Liner and Trident

Mack Truck’s two demanding haul heroes, the Trident and Super-Liner have just benefited from a retro themed tough new facelift.

The locally driven project gives both models a new squared off face as well as featuring quad 7-inch LED headlights for better nighttime visibility from the driver’s seat.

The new look pays homage to the brand’s heritage of building tough trucks for tough conditions.

“This new look for Trident and Super-Liner really nails what Mack Trucks in Australia represents,” says Tony O’Connell, Vice President, Mack Trucks Australia. “We’re a brand that has help build this country into what it is today, from construction and infrastructure projects in our cities to the legendary road trains that are the lifeblood of our outback communities.”

The updated axle forward Trident features the 13 litre 535hp 1,920lb/ft MP8 powerplant with a choice of 12, 13 or 14-speed m-Drive transmissions while the heavy haul Super-Liner sports the brawny 17 litre MP11 powerplant at horsepower ratings ranging from 600 to 700 horsepower and up to a class leading 780hp and a stump pulling torque rating of 2,800 lb/ft.
